“There is 5 percent who are the Poor Righteous Teachers…”

I don’t get too deep into the story during the podcast (soon to be released, way earlier than Friday!!), but acquiring the knowledge of the Five Percent Nation was/is a huge influence in my life. During my formative teenage years when I was still a lost beige-red kid with not much identity, I got the best assignment ever from my junior year English teacher: pick a biography and write a report on the subject. The year was 1992, and I just learned that Spike Lee was directing a biopic on Malcolm X. I chose “The Autobiography of Malcolm X” and the results were life-altering. My eyes were opened to machinations of the “white man.” My mind was grounded in the belief that I could achieve anything. And while I listened to rap music because it seemed like the thing to do, my taste move away from the party rap of Young MC, House of Pain, and 2 Live Crew and towards pro-African crews like Public Enemy, Brand Nubian, Gang Starr, Wu-Tang Clan, and A Tribe Called Quest. Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, and Ice Cube were known Muslims and the message was in their lyrics. These guys are who I wanted to emulate at 15-16-17 years old. My militantism was born. 20 years later I still retain the core philosophies of the Five Percent. I am thoroughly atheist, so I retrofit the tenets into a belief of self. I am the main actor, I can create and destroy, and I am first person I should thank for any success and show disgust at any failure. And when I listen to Louis Farrakhan speak about the 5% of the population who have knowledge and their duty “to teach what you know to those who do not know,” I know that I am part of that 5%. New RLTLK episode to be released soon featuring Erin Tillman, The Dating Advice Girl. Knowledge...

@Suey_Park, #HashtagActivist Oriental Girl #CancelColbert

If you don’t know who Suey Park is, well, you are lucky. I have been fascinated by this millennial social agitator ever since she was identified as the #CancelColbert originator. I know, right, she creates hashtags to affect social change…on Twitter. I mean, that’s where the young people are at! Anyways, here is a video from The Colbert Report explaining the controversy — from his POV naturally. The Colbert Report Get More: Daily Show Full Episodes,Indecision Political Humor,The Colbert Report on Facebook Here is the original Ching-Chong Ding-Dong bit. I think it’s hurrarrious. The Colbert Report Get More: Daily Show Full Episodes,Indecision Political Humor,The Colbert Report on Facebook Fast forward to one week later, and it seems that the Suey Park anger parade has overshot its load and has lost steam in the public space. However, on Twitter, Suey stands defiantly alone like a shitty human representation of North Korea. If my w**** allies need me to center my existence on their comfort, then I reject them as allies. — Angry Asian Woman (@suey_park) April 3, 2014   I truly recommend reading the story at The Raw Story. An oppressive white privileged heteronormative look at Suey Park’s SQUIRREL! interview And as multiple people have pointed out and I already knew, if you get endorsed by Michelle Malkin on racial issues involving Asians, you officially lost. Co-sign! RT @suey_park I’m sick of liberals hiding behind assumed “progressiveness” #CancelColbert — Michelle Malkin (@michellemalkin) March 28, 2014   New podcast available later today. Unfortunately, the feed is fucked. And the audio is fucked up on the podcast. Lawd have mercy, it’s still a good...
